What do human rights mean to you? Fitzroy High School and Melbourne Girls’ College – Aug 2016
We visited Fitzroy High School and Melbourne Girls’ College, where students offered their opinions on human rights, adding to the discussion started by the students at Clifton Hill Primary school earlier this year for our Human Rights Are video series.
It’s pretty simple in their eyes – and they are right. It is a simple concept. It means the right to be who you are, to love who you want to love and the right to feel protected and equal under the law, for starters. But there’s also much more to it – check out our video for some great insights into the unique protection we’ve got in Victoria, the Charter of Human Rights and Responsibilities.
