In this report we profile the key human rights issues that were raised with us by stakeholders.
In 2013 the treatment of people in prisons and other closed environments, and interactions with police, were repeatedly identified as areas of concern. This report examines those concerns and provides some case studies showing how Charter rights have been used to identify and improve outcomes for Victorians.
The right to privacy was another common issue identified in consultations, which we outline in this report.
