Making a complaint under federal anti-discrimination laws
In line with processes adopted in other states, complaints made under federal laws; the Racial Discrimination Act 1975, the Sex Discrimination Act 1984, and the Disability Discrimination Act 1992, can no longer be lodged with the Victorian Equal Opportunity & Human Rights Commission. Complaints under federal law must now be lodged with the Australian Human Rights Commission (AHRC), Level 8, Picadilly Tower, 133 Castlereagh St, Sydney NSW 2000. Ph 1300 656 419.
