Have your say on Aboriginal Cultural Rights

The Victorian Equal Opportunity and Human Rights Commission is developing new resources to increase the awareness, understanding and use of Aboriginal cultural rights under the Charter of Human Rights and Responsibilities.

We would like to invite the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community to take part in this consultation process by completing a short survey.

The Commission would like to hear from you to:

  • find out about the use of Aboriginal cultural rights in Victoria
  • find out what sort of resources would be most useful for government and community.

We will not be collecting any personal information and all responses are anonymous.

You can access the survey online here. Please feel free to pass it on through your networks.

Please note: This survey is for the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community only and will close on 21 August 2015.

For more information on the project see Aboriginal Cultural Rights in Victoria or contact Melissa Saunders, Senior Education Consultant, Aboriginal Engagement on 03 9032 3454 or email
