Accessibility

The offices are wheelchair accessible from the main entrance on 204 Lygon Street.

There is a two hour accessible parking lot outside the main entrance. In the underground car park next to 204 Lygon Street, there is one accessible parking lot next to the lifts on levels A, B, C and D.

An accessible toilet is available in the level 3 foyer opposite the lifts.

Communication boards are available at Reception.

Assistance dogs and guide dogs are welcome at the Commission.

Bus

Routes 200, 201, 203, 205 and 207 travel directly to Lygon Street
The closest stop is Argyle Square/Lygon Street (Carlton) Stop ID: 957

Routes 250, 251 and 253 travel to Rathdowne Street, two blocks east of Lygon Street

Most bus services are wheelchair accessible; however, you can call the National Bus Operations depot on 9488 2133 to request a wheelchair-accessible service. It is best to contact the depot the day before you travel.

Tram

Route 19 travels to Elizabeth Street, approximately a 10-minute walk west of Lygon Street. the closest stop is Stop 9 – Haymarket/Elizabeth Street (Melbourne City).

Routes 1, 3, 3a, 5, 6, 8, 16, 64, 67 or 72 travel to Swanston Street, two blocks west of Lygon Street. The closest stop is Stop 3 – Lincoln Square/Swanston Street (Carlton)

Train

Travel to Melbourne Central train station and change to bus or tram options listed above. Alternatively, it takes approximately 15 minutes to walk from Melbourne Central to 204 Lygon Street.
